Experience and Background
I have worked in multiple therapeutic settings, from community mental health centers to addiction recovery settings to a high-end health and wellness spa. In my 25 years of practice as a psychotherapist and life coach, there is hardly an issue I have not encountered! As a nondenominational spiritual seeker (and finder) for more than 30 years, I am interested in that interface between spiritual wisdom and mental/emotional wellbeing. I am also a practitioner and teacher of meditation, as a path to transcendence and as a means to cultivate radical sanity.
My own journey to find meaning, happiness, and transformation has included two masters degrees—one in spiritual psychology and the other in clinical social work—plus countless trainings with master teachers in psychospiritual development. I am always keeping it fresh by learning new methodologies and perspectives, and lately have been very engaged with the study of a powerful ancient personality and temperament type system called the Enneagram. I tend to be a good match for clients who share that commitment to lifelong learning.
Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.
